Our aim is to offer breeders good looking precocious stallions whose careers were built around speed. Galloping to the forefront of breeding, Compas Stallions stand the first sons of young and exciting Group 1 sires EQUIANO and SHOWCASING.

2017 saw the first foals by leading two-year-old sprinter Cappella Sansevero, who look tailor-made for the racetrack and include siblings to notable Group 1 winners, Jet Setting and Harry Angel. The outstanding top-class sprinter Strath Burn has let down into a most striking individual and has the makings of becoming a consistent source of speed, much like his sire.

We would like to thank the breeders who have supported us in the past and look forward to welcoming you back in 2018. Please do come and view our stallions at Bridge House Stud.

If you fancy some ‘speed dating’ and a racy fee for your mare, we are offering exceptional deals in 2018 to help breeders produce foals at a sensible price in the current climate. Please ring us for details of all deals available and to visit the stallions at Bridge House Stud.

  • “Cappella Sansevero is a beautiful looking son of leading young sire Showcasing who was a very consistent and talented two year old. The best colt by his exciting sire Showcasing, he looks the perfect type to sire winners in his likeness.”

    - David Redvers

  • “He has got a great temperament and he shows so much speed that I could even go back to five furlongs with him. I've always thought he is a Group One horse. ”

    - Charlie Hills

  • “A gorgeous straight forward colt that was unlucky not to win a Coventry. Very good 2yr old but unfortunately got jarred up at 3. Was very much looking forward to training next season as he's grown into a beautiful strong colt. ”

    - Trainer Ger Lyons

  • “Strath Burn is a cracker of an individual who showed immense talent at two and three and has beaten numerous Gr1 winners throughout his career. He has the looks and ability to prove an instant success at stud.”
